The 9Marks at Southeastern Conference equips church leaders with a biblical vision and practical resources for displaying God's glory to the nations through healthy churches. The partnership between Southeastern and 9Marks seeks to examine each of the 9 marks of a healthy church.

This two-day conference is held on the campus of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC and is open to the general public, pastors, and church staffs and can be taken for course credit at Southeastern.

Prayer is one area of the Christian life where we tend to have more questions than answers, especially when we consider not only praying on our own but praying together as a church. We want to pray, we know we ought to pray, but sometimes we don’t know where to start. When we look to Scripture, we find that prayer is the personal and public plea of God’s people to our Father who hears us. It is one of the means by which God shapes His people both individually and corporately. Corporate prayer is a particular time when the Holy Spirit knits His people together in Him, and to one another. This year's 9Marks at Southeastern conference will focus on the interconnected relationship between personal prayer devotion and the corporate prayer life of our churches.

This year's 9Marks at Southeastern Conference will be held on September 27-28, 2019. The conference will feature Danny Akin, Thabiti Anyabwile, Mark Dever, HB Charles, Brian Davis, Shai Linne, and John Onwuchekwa speaking and teaching on the theme of Prayer.
